  Monmouth University Men's Basketball 2009-10
The Hawks season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the NEC Tourn.
on Thursday evening, March 4th, in Hamden, Conn.. The 8th seeded
Hawks gave number 1 seeded Quinnipiac all they could handle with the
Bobcats outlasting the Hawks 84 to 75 and celebrating as if they won the
Tourn. and on their way to an NCAA berth. Hawks senior captain,
Whitney Coleman, played inspired ball leading MU with 22 pts and
finishing his career with 1203 pts.. Rutgers transfer, Soph. Justin Sofman,
poured in a career high 21 pts. and Ed Waite had 13 pts. and 7 rebounds.
Everyone who stepped on the floor left nothing in the tank, playing their
best overall effort of the season for Coach Dave Calloway and his staff.
    More game pics to come.....
